19th Century saltglazed stoneware

Only a few miles away from where the Pots and Food Fair will be held is the market town of Chesterfield.  During the 19th century there were over a dozen potteries in the town, many of which were in Brampton, an area on the edge of Chesterfield which gave it's name to the pottery.

Rob Law. a local collector of Brampton pottery, will be putting on a display of items, some of which will be for sale.
